I scheduled a haircut for tomorrow. This is a big deal because 1) my last haircut was so-so, so a lot is riding on my next haircut, and 2) this is a completely strange city - my hair might turn out funky.
Godspeed dear friend. There are no guarantees in life or in hair. I have been going to the same woman for two years, and yet when I got my last haircut with her, I said "Please take two inches off, max." When she was done, my hair was four inches shorter, with layers, and the floor was so covered with hair that it looked like she had killed Chewbacca.
How'd it go? How'd it go??? I just chopped 9 inches off and love it. :) If you get a good hair cut, you may have to get another one before you head back to the East Coast!
